Witches and more fly at Rosarian AcademyÕs ÒWizard of OzÓ Performance
You will believe witches and more can fly! Rosarian Academy presents ÒThe Wizard of OzÓ April 20th-21st in Rosarian AcademyÕs Theatre of the Performing Arts. Dra teacher, Bob Sherman, adds a new and ÒheightenedÓ element of staging to this yearÕs school performance with young actresses and actors flying across the stage in elaborate professional costumes.
Since its opening in 1964, the schoolÕs magnificent 485 person professional theater has been enjoyed by countless of legends including Judy Garland, Perry Como, and Al Hirt. After being closed for six years for renovation, the Rosarian Academy theater reopened May of 2012. Rosarian is excited to share its commitment to the arts by inviting the community to watch future legends perform ÒThe Wizard of Oz.Ó
The shows are April 20th at 7:30 pm and April 21st at 2:30 pm. Tickets are available online at www.seatyourself.biz/rosarian.
