VISUAL ARTS PROGRAM
Lower School students participate in a visual arts program that offers media experiences and processes, art history units, self-expression and evaluation skills, as well as an opportunity to see the relevancy of art in their school and community.
Middle School students, advancing their Lower School art background, study additional design and composition principles, practice more complex media skills and techniques, and develop their own personal style.
Celebrating with an art show at the end of the year, student’s creative experiences are displayed for the school and community.
This course teaches the elements of design and the principles of composition, along with representative media experiences.
This course expands drawing and design skills, while building creative and critical thinking.
This course focuses on numerous media techniques, tools and styles in an effort to develop personal self-expression and growth.
This course is for students who have an understanding of design, composition and art techniques and want to focus on personal style and creativity.
