We are pleased to inform you of RosarianÕs technology plan for the 2014-2015 school year. After diligent research on best practices in the use of digital media in the classroom; the introduction and successful implementation of iPad carts in the Middle School; and the enhancement of our infrastructure and network systems, we are happy to announce the second phase of our technology initiative.
Beginning in the fall, we will be initiating a one-to-one iPad progr for all seventh and eighth grade students. Our goal is to continue the enhancement and integration of 21st century skills into our curriculum, allowing teachers to incorporate more digital media into their lessons; include more problem-solving, decision-making, and creativity into the learning process; and encourage a deeper level of learning through collaboration and project-based activities. Leased through the school, iPads will come equipped with online access to textbooks, study and organizational tools, and other applications to enhance the learning process.
