Rosarian Academy Honors Its Underwriters and Sponsors
Rosarian Academy kicked off its 41st Annual Auction and Ball with an appreciation party at the home of Beth and Sean Lang on Friday, January 31, 2020. The hosts prepared an intimate evening with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres to honor those underwriting and sponsoring the school’s upcoming Auction & Ball.
Over 100 attendees enjoyed the exquisite waterfront view of the home while dining on delicious bites, including an extensive sushi station. Underwriting and sponsorship gifts make up 40% of the auction proceeds and go directly to the school’s bottom line. These monies are a vital part of the funds needed to operate Rosarian Academy.
This year’s Auction and Ball, Going for the Gold, will be held at the Norton Museum of Art on Saturday, March 14, 2020. Auction Chair Colleen Orrico (current parent and Rosarian Academy Class of 1987) and the event committee are planning an Olympic-themed evening for hundreds of members of the Rosarian community. The Honorary Auction Chairs include an active group of Palm Beach County community members and former Rosarian mothers who each chaired the Auction & Ball in the past: Jane Kreusler-Walsh (1987 Chair), Cathy Moore (1988 Chair), Cathy Flagg (1989 Chair), Joey Bulfin (1992 Chair), and Mary Ferol DiFilippo (1992 Chair). The chair and all of the honorary chairs attended the appreciation party.
The Auction and Ball will include silent and live auctions, dinner, dancing, raffles and more. Proceeds from this event are a vital part of bridging the gap between tuition revenue and the actual cost of educating students at Rosarian. Tickets are $250 each and available at bidpal.net/RAauction2020. For more information, please call 561.345.3109.
