Rosarian Academy will present Shrek The Musical Jr. this weekend. Curtain time is 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Rosarian’s 485-seat professional theater, 807 N. Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach.
The 43-member cast includes students Jake Kaywell (Shrek) and Ella Schrotenboer (Wicked Witch), Sailor Kate Ashley (Donkey); Skyler White (Pinocchio); Grace Trainor (Princess Fiona); Hayley Albergo (Ma Ogre and Bishop), Marlowe Flom (Papa Ogre); and Woodland Creatures Nicole Guari, Grace Miller and Kate Sieving.
The musical is produced and directed by Robert Sherman, with musical direction by Gay Dedo and choreography by Jeanne Bennet and Francesca Coniglio. Lily Cooney, a Rosarian Academy graduate, is also helping.
