As an extension of eighth-grade classroom study of erican democracy and the U.S. Constitution, 45 of Rosarian Academy eighth-grade students and five chaperones took a three-day tour of the nationÕs capital April 29 through May 1.
Students researched, created and presented digital documentaries on the D.C. monuments and memorials in preparation for the trip.
Class work ce alive moments after the enthusiastic group landed in Washington, D.C., and started their tour, visiting Arlington National Cemetery, the Marine Corps War Memorial, the Washington Monument, the Vietn Veterans Memorial, the Korean War Veterans Memorial, the World War II Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the Martin Luther King Memorial, the FDR Memorial and the Jefferson Memorial.
