Rosarian students Emma Mayer and Collin Yohe, both in the 2nd grade, participated in a Palm Beach Arbor Day tradition, helping to plant a native orange geiger tree in Park Avenue Park on January 13. News of the annual Garden Club of Palm Beach event was reported by the Palm Beach Daily News and Yahoo! News. Palm Beach Mayor and Rosarian parent Danielle Moore was quoted in the article.
“So many of the younger generations don’t have the opportunity to see trees and plants. If it’s not something you grow up doing, it’s hard for you to change your method as you age,” she said.
