Giving is definitely better than receiving. ThatÕs the lifelong message that the Rosarian Academy hopes to teach each of its students through service opportunities offered throughout the year.
But thereÕs an even greater focus on serving and giving during the holiday season in preparation for Christmas Day.
For more than 10 years, the seventh-grade class has led the school-wide effort to collect unwrapped toys for needy children who may not otherwise receive anything for Christmas.
