DisneyÕs The Lion King KIDS will be performed by Rosarian Academy Lower School students on Nov. 7 and 8. The musical is produced and directed by Robert Sherman, with musical direction by Gay Dedo, choreography by Jeanne Bennet, and costume assistance by alumnus Willi Linn.
Showcasing a cast of 50 first-through-fourth-graders, The Lion King KIDS takes the audience on an African adventure.
Based on the Broadway production directed by Julie Taymor and the 1994 Disney film, The Lion King KIDS tells the story of the adventures of a curious cub ned Simba (Jack Shepherd) as he struggles to accept the responsibilities of adulthood and his destiny as king.
