Rosarian Academy seventh-grader MacCrea ÒMacÓ Murphy has advanced to the state level of the National Geographic Bee for the second consecutive year. Murphy won the school-level competition on Jan. 17, then took a written test to qualify for the state competition.
He found out last month that he qualified for the state event, which will be Friday at Jacksonville University.
