Rosarian Academy is in the news!

Rosarian Academy students turned back the clock to relive a day in the area’s first classroom. The Little Red Schoolhouse is home to The Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach’s “living history” program. Students spent a day learning the 3 “R’s”: Reading, wRiting, and aRithmetic and other lessons typical of the 1890s, such as Spencerian script, reciting stories from McGuffey’s Readers, participating in a spelling bee, and experiencing classic recess games.

Fourth-grade teacher Mildred Acosta led her class Tuesday, March 5, fourth-grade teacher Amy Pelletier guided her class through the Little Red Schoolhouse Wednesday, March 6, and fourth grade teacher Katherine Murphy attended with her class on Thursday, March 7.
