Rosarian AcademyÕs first varsity cross-country season ce to a close recently with sixth-grader Elise Lanahan and eighth-grader John Carlson achieving personal-best times at the final middle school meet at Cardinal Newman High School. Other competing schools included St. LukeÕs School of Palm Springs and All Saints Catholic School, of Jupiter.
The tes trained and competed on Wednesday evenings in September and October at Newman. They also traveled to compete in weekend events in Hobe Sound and Stuart.
Carlson, who opened the season with a victory, closed it out with another one, covering the 1.5-mile course in 11:03.
