Founded in 1925, Rosarian Academy, the only independent Catholic school in Palm Beach County, celebrates its 90th anniversary this year.
Originally ned St. Ann-on-the-Lake, it was the first Catholic school in the southern part of the Florida diocese, with four nuns from the Adrian Dominican Sisters at the helm. In 1939, the schoolÕs ne changed to Rosarian.
It began as an all-girls boarding school from grade school through high school. Beginning in the 1940Õs and continuing through the years, the school saw continued growth in student population, buildings and enities.
Today, itÕs a co-ed institution with about 400 students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade.
As Rosarian Academy celebrates nine decades of educating students, we asked graduates and former administrators for their favorite memories of days at the school that started as St. Ann-on-the-Lake.
