ROSARIAN 7TH GRADER WINS 1ST PLACE IN PALM BEACH FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIANS AND JEWS ESSAY CONTEST
Rosarian Academy 7th grader Maggie Acosta won first place in the 2017 essay competition put forth by the Palm Beach Fellowship of Christians and Jews. This yearÕs essay topic was the importance of voting. An excerpt from MaggieÕs essay :
ÒSometimes a voterÕs candidate wins and sometimes they lose, but the belief that we are grounded in the same goodness gives us the faith to all move together in the same directionÓ
Hundreds of students from public and private middle and high schools throughout Palm Beach County submitted essays for a chance to earn recognition in this competition. Maggie will had the opportunity to share her essay with the organization and all in attendance at the awards ceremony at the Paramount on Monday, April 24th.
