The Paris-based Herms Quartet performed Tuesday for about 385 students from Rosarian Academy and The Greene School at the academy in West Palm Beach.
In addition to other music, the quartet played excerpts from The Pink Panther and Star Wars scores at studentsÕ request.
The event was the first of four young artists concerts that The Chamber Music Society of Palm Beach will perform for students at Rosarian this season as part of its youth outreach program, which also includes several other schools.
Cellist Edgar Moreau will play in February, violinist Stephen Waarts in March and pianist Ji in April.
Moreau, Waarts and Ji also will perform public concerts at Rosarian.
