“ROSARIAN WEEK” TRADITION CONCLUDES WITH FIELD DAY NEXT FRIDAY, OCTOBER 6
WHAT:
An array of colors, energy and spirit will flood Rosarian Academy’s campus next Friday, October 6th, as Middle School students conclude the school’s annual celebration of “Rosarian Week” with Field Day. Clad wildly from head to toe in their team colors—Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Pink, Purple, Black & White–, fifth-through-eighth-grade students will compete in events, such as: team handball, soccer, Lego build, volleyball, Wii Just Dance, track and field, basketball, capture the flag, and bowling blitz. Although the teams vie to showcase the first place trophy in their team leader’s classroom, the focus of the day is on good sportsmanship—being “athletes of Christ,” like St. Dominic.
As tradition, Rosarian spends the first full week of October celebrating its service, faith, community, spirit, and mission—all of which have been a part of the school’s history in Palm Beach County since 1925.
