EAT THE WAY THE WORLD EATS: HUNGER BANQUET TO HELP ROSARIAN STUDENTS UNDERSTAND POVERTY AND HUNGER
Next Friday, March 7th, the Rosarian Academy seventh and eighth grades will participate in an Oxf Hunger Banquet. The Hunger Banquet will provide students the unique and memorable opportunity to walk in someone elseÕs shoes for a single meal that becomes transformed into a true socioeconomic cross section of the world. Few learning experiences bring to life the inequalities in our world and develop diverse perspectives more powerfully than an Oxf Hunger Banquet.
CafŽ Joshua Catering Company, a social enterprise business of The LordÕs Place, is preparing and donating all of the food for the Hunger Banquet. CafŽ JoshuaÕs participation in the banquet is one of the many ways that The LordÕs Place and Rosarian are working together to help foster an awareness of the continual need for social change.
