Over 1,500 Pounds of Food Collected for Bill Brooks’ Food for Families
Rosarian Academy held its annual community food drive in conjunction with WPTV Channel 5 Bill Brooks’ Food for Families from October 25-November 16. Coordinated by the 8th grade, over 1,500 pounds of food was collected and donated to St Paul of The Cross Catholic Church‘s van ministry and St. Vincent de Paul Society. St. Paul of the Cross picked up the food on Friday, October 18, and the non-perishable food items will help provide needy families with a plentiful Thanksgiving.
Rosarian Academy, founded in 1925, educates students from early childhood through eighth grade and offers an exceptionally strong academic program enriched by athletics, visual and performing arts, and community service opportunities. The independent, Catholic school is located on Flagler Drive in downtown West Palm Beach and is sponsored by the Adrian Dominican Sisters. Bus service is available throughout Palm Beach County.
