ROSARIAN ALUM AND STUDENTS DON’T LET COVID STEAL CHRISTMAS

Rosarian Academy alumna and students–Parker (Class of 2019), Win (8th), Mercer (7th) and Tilly (K) Ward and Brady(7th) and Coley (6th) Surovek–along with Colin Nicoletti (sophomore at Woodberry Forest) have started “Don’t Let COVID Steal Christmas” and raised nearly $15,000 to buy gifts for children whose families may be struggling to purchase presents for their children. They donated the gifts to various organizations, including Rosarian’s toy drive which benefits the Florida Department of Children and Families, Oxbridge Academy’s toy drive for Little Smiles, Town of Palm Beach United Way, Safe Harbor, Opportunity Inc., and Friends of Foster Care Children. Some of the raised funds were used to buy gift cards for local first responders who have sacrificed their time and risked their health to help our community.

Rosarian Academy, founded in 1925, is celebrating its 95th year educating students in Palm Beach County. The independent, Catholic school serves students from early childhood through eighth grade and offers an exceptionally strong academic program enriched by athletics, visual and performing arts, and community service opportunities. STEM, coding, art, drama, music theory, and Spanish classes begin in kindergarten. Rosarian is located on Flagler Drive in downtown West Palm Beach and is sponsored by the Adrian Dominican Sisters.
