Have you ever wondered what itÕs like being a movie star?
This weekend, you can ask.
Actor Burt Reynolds, a longtime Palm Beach County resident, will be available for a question-and-answer session on Saturday evening, followed by a showing of the 1978 classicHooper at Rosarian AcademyÕs Picotte Fine Arts Center.
ÒI never know what questions will be asked,Ó Reynolds said in a news release announcing the event. ÒSometimes I think my fans know more about my life than I do. Anticipation keeps me on my toes.Ó
Donna Carbone, managing director of the Burt Reynolds Institute for Film and Theatre in Jupiter, said proceeds from the event will be split between the instituteÕs building fund and Rosarian Academy.
Reynolds, 80, teaches a class on Friday evenings at the institute.
ÒHe is a lover of education,Ó Carbone said.
She added that Reynolds is a close friend of Robert Sherman, director of the academyÕs theater program.
