Advisory for May 23: Rosarian Class of 2019 Baccalaureate Mass, Brunch, and Graduation

WHAT:

A Baccalaureate Mass honoring the Class of 2019 graduates will be held in Rosarian Academy’s Theater on Thursday, May 23 at 9:30 AM. Father Brian King, secretary to Bishop Barbarito, will celebrate the liturgy.

Immediately following the Mass, a brunch honoring the eighth graders and their families will be held in the school’s Dining Hall. The brunch is organized by seventh grade mothers and the Rosarian Academy Family Association.

Later Thursday, the graduation ceremony will also take place in the Theater beginning at 5:00 PM. Class of 2015 alumna, Caroline Fulton, will be the commencement speaker. Caroline attended Rosarian continuously from kindergarten through eighth grade. She graduated from Rosarian with the highest GPA in her graduating class and proceeded to high school at Saint Andrew’s School, receiving a four-year merit scholarship to attend. She was inducted in the Cum Laude Society while a junior, placing her in the top 10% of her class. This is the highest academic honor bestowed by the school. Caroline also received the Wellesley Book Award—given to one junior female each year, acknowledging Caroline’s academic record, exceptional character, and personal contributions to Saint Andrew’s and the larger community. Caroline will attend the University of Virginia as a first-year student in the fall of 2019.
