Rosarian honors athletes: Spring sports are headed down the home stretch, but Rosarian Academy recently took time to honor its winter sports participants.
The award recipients for soccer are: Boys varsity — Jack Johnston, hustle award; James Molina, heart award; Jack Beylo, the boot; Win Ward, defensive MVP; Brewer Rehm, offensive MVP. Girls varsity — Natalie Acosta, unsung hero; Lily Guari, defensive MVP; Natasha Yedinak, offensive MVP; Olivia Debbs, most improved. Girls junior varsity — Eliza Ashley, unsung hero; Georgina Keogh, heart award; Annabelle Walsh, offensive MVP; Juliana Cardenas, most improved.
Recipients of basketball awards are: Girls varsity — Juliana Cardenas, most improved; Lily Guari, defensive player; Parker Ward, offensive player. Boys varsity — Harrison Ashley, most improved; M.J. Hanlon, coach’s award; Liam Landers, defensive MVP; Jack Mischke, offensive MVP. Girls junior varsity — Natasha Yedinak, heart award; Cate Frerichs, defensive player; and Logan Ray and Nellie Miller, co-MVPs. Boys junior varsity — Samuel Hernandez, most improved; Matthias Bessenroth, coach’s award; Jack Beylo, defensive MVP; F.J. Bahl, offensive MVP. Boys development team — Luca Cardenas, most improved.
