Rosarian 6th Grader Emma Chopin Advances to Final Round in Scripps Regional Spelling Bee

Rosarian Academy sixth-graders Emma Chopin and Nicholas Grippi participated in the Final Regional Southeastern Scripps Spelling Bee at The Benjamin School on Thursday, March 7. The first round of the Bee included about 125 students from various counties taking a written test. Emma was one of 21 participants who made it to the final round which consisted of an oral spelling bee on the stage.

Emma won the Rosarian Academy school-level competition and Nicholas was the runner-up on January 11, 2019.  They were the two school-level finalists in 2018 as well. They both had the opportunity to represent Rosarian and advance to the Regional Bee in 2018 and 2019.
