Sixth-grader Emma Chopin won the school-level National Spelling Bee with the champion word “deliberately.” Nicholas Grippi, also a sixth-grader, was the runner-up. They will both represent Rosarian at the Final Regional Southeastern Florida Scripps Spelling Bee on March 7 at The Benjamin School. Also participating in the school-level bee were Ella Ross Lang, Charlotte, Jordan, Heidi Alcime, Risa Hernandez, Juan Lucas Gonzalez, Harry Scarola, Tucker Yavinsky, MJ Hanlon, Ava Iuliani and Victoria Reynolds.
