Third-graders from local schools helped plant a pair of Bauhinia monandra, more commonly known as pink orchid trees, for the Garden Club of Palm BeachÕs Arbor Day celebration Thursday at Bradley Park.
Fifty children from Palm Beach Day Academy, Palm Beach Public and Rosarian Academy participated in the event, which has been held since 1999.
