There’s No Place Like Rosarian: Wizard of Oz Musical Opens This Weekend
Friday at 7 PM (almost sold out!) | Saturday at 2 PM
After months of rehearsals, painting, costume design—and even flying across the stage!—Rosarian Academy’s 2nd–8th grade students are ready to take you over the rainbow. This weekend’s production of The Wizard of Oz is a true testament to their dedication, talent, and collaborative spirit.
Audiences will follow Dorothy, played by Aviana Petrucco, as she journeys through Oz alongside the Scarecrow (Lola Grande), Tinman (Sebastian Sancho), and Cowardly Lion (Noelle Moran). With magic from Glinda (Leeza Keegan), mischief from the Wicked Witch (Andrea Velutini), and guidance from the Wizard himself (David Zhu), the cast brings this classic tale to life in spectacular fashion.
The production also features:
-
Over 40 supporting cast members, including Munchkins, Jitterbugs, Flying Monkeys, Ozians, and Winkie Guards
-
A live band, stunning sets, costumes, and technical effects
-
A dedicated backstage and flying crew that keeps the magic moving
This joyful performance is directed by Flint Keller, with musical direction by Aaliyah Amoin and choreography by Jeanne Bennett-Chapin, plus a stellar design and tech team behind the curtain.
