SUMMER PROGRAMS

Half Day (9:00 am – 12:00 pm): $170
Full Day (9:00 am – 3:00 pm): $265

Come enjoy your favorite sports and PE games—capture the flag, bowling blitz, poly spot round up, steal the pins, capture the ball, jail break, mat ball, soccer, basketball, your favorite tag games and so much more. Throughout the week, students will engage in their favorite PE games while showing good sportsmanship and having fun. All students must wear sneakers and should come ready to play. All campers should bring a drink and snack.

*LUNCH IS PROVIDED DAILY TO FULL-DAY CAMPERS AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE.

Half Day (12:00 pm – 3:00 pm): $170

Students will learn the game of basketball in a purposeful way that promotes fundamental skills, teamwork, and the value of hard work.Jeff Cavallo, the camp director, has 20 years of basketball experience and four high school district championships at The Benjamin School.

Come cook with Flik Chef Rebecca Keller!  One of the best ways to get children to try new food is by getting them involved in cooking it. Get your children interested in where their food comes from and how it is made. Cooking skills will help reinforce concepts in teamwork, science, language/reading and math. Children will learn how to read recipes, measure ingredients and enjoy the several creations they make each day!

This one-week soccer clinic is taught by Coach Beylo, the boys and girls varsity soccer coach at Rosarian.  All participants must wear soccer attire, soccer shoes and shin guards.  All Campers should bring a light snack and a drink.  Throughout the camp, the children will learn many skills and moves and play lead up games and a mini tournament.  Campers will also have the luxury of playing both indoor and outdoor soccer.  All campers will even get a T-shirt!  This camp is open to the public, so invite your neighborhood friends to join in the fun!

9:00 am  – 10:30 am (5th grade): $125
10:30 am  – 12:00 pm (6th grade): $125

The first section (8:30 am -10:00 am) is for students entering 5th grade regardless of math level. A complete review of 4th grade math as well as a brief intro to 5th grade in general will take place.

The second section (10:30 am – 12:00 pm) is for all students entering into 6th grade math regardless of math level.  A complete review of the previous year’s math will take place.

Half Day 9:00 am – 12:00 pm; $170

Throughout this week, campers will be placed according to ability while they learn and refresh volleyball skills. They will focus on different drills, teamwork, and playing the game. Girls should wear sneakers, have hair up and bring knee pads. The last day will be a competition day. Come with a good attitude and be ready to have fun!

This volleyball skills camps is for girls only and is taught by Sharyn and Loren Ayres.

10:30 am  – 12:00 pm (8th grade): $125

This camp will get you ready for a successful math year! Students will review the key concepts needed for great start to the year! Incoming 7th  grade will be held 9:00am – 10:30am and 8th grade 10:30am – 12:00pm.

Wed/Thurs Full Days (9:00 am – 3:00 pm) & Friday Half Day (9:00 am – 12:00 pm): $170

Calling all actors and actresses! K – 4th students are invited to join Francesca Finck and Gay Dedo for a week of mini musical theatre featuring Aladdin Kids. The camp will be full day (9-3) on Wednesday and Thursday and half day (9-12) on Friday when the students will hold their final performance for parents.

Our staff includes:

Francesca Finck – a Rosarian alum and a graduate of the University of Alabama with a minor in musical theatre.

Gay Dedo- Music Teacher and Show Choir Director at Rosarian Academy; also a professional accompanist who has performed for former President George W. Bush

Come join us as we play a variety of sports like Soccer, Basketball, Flag Football, Volleyball, Lacrosse, Ultimate Frisbee and Team Handball. You will learn skills, play lead up games and end with mini tournaments throughout the week with the various sports.  This camp will be open for incoming 1st through 8th graders.  Invite your neighborhood friends!!  Don’t let your child miss out on all the summer fun!!

This program is a great place to learn, explore, make new friends, and have fun! Campers are provided with a variety of experiences to encourage positive physical, social and emotional growth while basic values such as kindness, honesty, and respect for others is reinforced. There will time for small and large group activities, independent choice, and outdoor play. Camp days are filled with music, stories, crafts and creative play revolving around the theme of the week.

Are you ready to bring your performing skills to the next level? Then join us this summer for a theatre camp experience that is fun, challenging, and inspired. You bring the inspiration and the passion and we will challenge you with songs, skits, commercials, and improvisation that will put the FUN in your Summer Showcase.

Our staff includes:

Robert Sherman — Theatre Director and drama teacher at Rosarian Academy. Robert Sherman is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA who has appeared in principal roles in feature films, network television and off-Broadway plays and musicals.

Gay Dedo — Music Teacher and Show Choir Director at Rosarian Academy. Gay Dedo is a professional accompanist who has performed for former President George W. Bush and currently serves as the Musical Director of Rosarian productions.

Jeanne Bennett — Choreographer of Rosarian Musical Productions. Jeanne Bennett is a professional actor and a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association who has toured in the national productions of Les Miz and The Mystery of Edwin Drood.

Coding is the skill of the future! Join the South Florida Science Center and type, click, and think your way through coding challenges as they teach you the FUN-damentals of the computer language. Get a step ahead and gain the coding foundation needed for the jobs of tomorrow.

Don’t miss all the coolest science, technology, engineering and math experiments and labs the South Florida Science Center has to offer.  Bring your appetite for a fun-filled week of STEM!

In addition to the academic year, we offer eight additional weeks of learning and fun over the summer months for our students who will remain in the Junior Toddler classroom or will be moving into the 2-3 year old Toddler House classroom in August 2018. The Summer Explorer Program is for students who are registered to attend the Junior Toddler OR Toddler House classrooms at Rosarian Academy for the 2018-2019 school year. This program is available on a week-by-week basis from June 11 – August 10. There is no camp the week of July 2.
