Fall interscholastic sports are a thing of the past and winter sports are getting ready to crank up at local schools.

Rosarian Academy’s cross-country team completed its season with a meet over a 1.5-mile course on the campus of Cardinal Newman High School. Rosarian had five runners, from grades 4 to 6, competing, and three went home with medals, led by fifth-grader Eleanor Hall, who finished second in the girls’ competition, with a time of 11:13. Also earning medals were sixth-grader Iliana Beauchamp, who finished fifth among the girls (12:20) and Palm Beach resident Teddy Duncker, a fifth-grader, who finished seventh among the boys (10:36). Rounding out the field were fourth-grade competitors Trey Wagner and Landon Ferguson.
