Sharing Christmas Cheer with the Less Fortunate: This Friday, December 8

WHAT:
Sprinkles, icing, crafts, and decorations…Rosarian Academy’s National Junior Honor Society students will share Christmas cheer with the children and families who reside at The Lord’s Place Family Campus this Friday, December 8. Annually, Rosarian students plan cookie decorating and Christmas festivities for the 36 families (60 children) who are housed by The Lord’s Place.

The Lord’s Place Housing Programs provide shelter for homeless men, women and children and help residents identify the issues that led to their homelessness. The Lord’s Place gives their residents the tools they need to stabilize their lives, while providing safe homes so they can thrive.

This service opportunity is open to all of Rosarian’s fifth-through-eighth-grade students and allows them to share meaningful stories and have fun with peers and younger children who are less fortunate than they.

WHEN: Friday, December 8
