Palm Beach, FL — February 2026 — The Rosarian Academy Girls Varsity Soccer team closed out an unforgettable inaugural season on its brand-new on-campus home field with a commanding 2–0 championship victory over Palm Beach Day Academy, marking a historic moment for the school’s athletic program.
The milestone win fittingly christened the new turf field in front of the Rosarian community. Eighth grader Khloe Ugarte etched her name in school history by scoring the first goal of the match to put the Raiders on the board. As the clock wound down in the final minute, seventh grader Mallory Kirkham sealed the championship with a decisive second goal, assisted beautifully on a corner kick by her sister, sixth grader McKenzie Kirkham.
The championship capped a remarkable season of dominance for the Raiders. Rosarian finished with a flawless 9-0-1 record, scoring an impressive 45 goals while allowing only seven. Demonstrating extraordinary team depth and collaboration, 15 of the team’s 20 players either scored or assisted during the season, highlighting the collective strength and spirit of the squad.
“This season represents an incredible milestone for Rosarian Athletics,” Athletic Director Lindsey Beylo shared. “Not only did our girls achieve an outstanding record, but they did it together, supporting one another, competing with heart, and setting a standard for the future of our program.”
The moment also carries special significance for the Rosarian community as it honors the legacy of former Athletic Director Cathy Reader, who devoted 50 years to Rosarian as a faculty member, staff leader, coach, mentor, and champion of student-athletes. Reader long envisioned a true on-campus athletic complex where Rosarian athletes could train and compete at home. The opening of the new field, and the team’s historic championship victory upon it, reflects the realization of that dream.
Reader also mentored Athletic Director and Head Coach Lindsey Beylo, and her influence continues to shape the program’s culture and leadership today. The Rosarian community recognizes Coach Beylo for guiding the team with passion, dedication, and excellence throughout this landmark season.
