Rosarian awards honors to best first trimester athletes

Rosarian Academy recently recognized its students who competed in the first trimester athletic season, which includes flag football, volleyball, swimming and cross-country.

The co-ed cross-country season was a first for the school, and eighth-grader John Carlson and sixth-grader Elise Lanahan were recognized with sportsmanship awards.

In swimming, Lolly Colton and Emma Guerrieri were ned most improved and eighth-graders Natalie Goffe and Grayson Zwickel were recipients of sportsmanship awards.

For boysÕ flag football, eighth-grader Jes Cinque was ned the most valuable player and Robert Fox won the sportsmanship award. On the junior varsity squad, Davis Dickinson was ned MVP, and Jackson Bachman won the sportsmanship award.

ong the girls, eighth-grader Mariana Perez-Vargas earned the volleyball teÕs MVP title, Lauren Bartl was ned recipient of the sportsmanship award, and seventh-grader Sofia Mendez was ned most improved player.

On the junior varsity squad, sixth-grader Mercedes Cassidy earned the MVP title, Mia Pariseleti was ned recipient of the sportsmanship award, and Haiden Hersey was dubbed most improved.
