West Palm Beach, FL — November 7 — Rosarian Academy commemorated its centennial anniversary in spectacular fashion at the Party of the Century Auction & Ball, a once-in-a-lifetime celebration honoring 100 years of faith, educational excellence, and community. The sold-out event welcomed more than 530 guests and raised a record-breaking $1.6 million, marking the most successful fundraising event in the Academy’s history.
The milestone evening brought together members of Dominican Veritas Ministries and the Adrian Dominican Sisters, alumni, past principals, current and former faculty and staff, parents past and present, and longtime benefactors — all united in celebrating Rosarian’s remarkable legacy and future.
Guests enjoyed an unforgettable night filled with champagne toasts, fireworks, flapper dancers paying homage to the 1920s, live music by Rock With U, photo booths, and a gourmet dinner blessed by Father Brian.
“This incredible evening would not have been possible without the tireless dedication of so many,” said Centennial Auction & Ball Host Chairs Maggie Flagg Richman ’99 and Meredith Hunt ’03. “Their commitment to Rosarian’s mission and to our students is truly inspiring.”
The evening honored Rosarian Academy’s 2025–2026 leadership, including Dominican Veritas Ministries, the Board of Directors, Emeritus Board, and the Centennial Celebration Honorary, Host, and Auction & Ball Committees — a dedicated group of more than 200 volunteers representing generations of the Rosarian community. The Academy also recognized its 250+ sponsors, underwriters, and donors, along with the Chairwomen of Auctions Past, celebrating more than 46 years of cherished tradition.
Major sponsors and underwriters included Cathy & Jack Flagg (First Course), Linda & Tom Hunt (Dessert Course), Carol & Bob Garvy (Dinner Floral & Décor), and Principal Sponsors Michael & Margaret Picotte Foundation, Linda & Paul Saville, Searcy Denney Scarola Barnhart & Shipley, PA, and Stoops Family Foundation, Inc.
Excitement peaked during the live auction when a coveted reserved parking space on campus sold for $65,000 — prompting the sale of four total. Guests enthusiastically bid on extraordinary experiences including a VIP Embassy Experience in Portugal, the opportunity to name a character in James Patterson’s next novel and enjoy breakfast with him, a private island escape to The Abaco Club, and a one-of-a-kind overnight lock-in with Rosarian’s P.E. teachers.
Two deeply meaningful moments of generosity stood out: the Call from the Heart, which funded Christmas bonuses for all Rosarian faculty and staff, and a special appeal supporting the school’s $10 million Capital Campaign. The campaign will fund transformative campus enhancements, including a new Montessori and Kindergarten building, a full-sized athletic complex enabling on-campus home games for the first time in school history, enhanced security, improved traffic flow and landscaping, and additional parking.
“This night was so special,” said Head of School Virginia Devine. “As much as time changes, one thing remains constant — the spirit of Rosarian Academy and the generations who believe in it.”
As Rosarian Academy enters its second century, the success of the Party of the Century stands as a powerful testament to a community rooted in faith, sustained by service, and inspired by love — truly a century in the making.
