West Palm Beach, FL — Rosarian Academy proudly celebrates its 100th year, marking a century of faith, academic excellence, and a close-knit community that continues to shape generations of students. Throughout this milestone year, the Rosarian family has come together to honor its rich history while embracing a vibrant future.
The celebration began with a spirited end-of-school-year pep rally featuring Cardinal Newman High School’s Band and 100 themed games to build excitement for the centennial. Over the summer, students carried “Flat Rowdie,” a printed version of the school’s beloved mascot, on their travels to spread the word about Rosarian’s 100th year near and far.
Rosarian’s story was featured in Palm Beach Illustrated with a full anniversary spread highlighting the school as “100 Years Young.” The Academy was also honored with the Institutional Excellence Award at the Palm Beach Illustrated Education Awards. Additional features included a cover story in Palm Beach Society magazine titled “Century of Heart,” promoting the Centennial Annual Auction and Ball — the “Party of the Century” — which welcomed more than 500 guests, maintained a hefty waitlist, and raised a record-breaking $1.6 million in support of the school’s mission. The school was further highlighted in the Private Schools Guide and recognized by Education Insider as a Top Private Catholic School of 2026.
The centennial spirit extended across campus through “100 Acts of Kindness,” a 100 Fitness Challenge, a 100 Reading Challenge, 100-themed art projects, student essays reflecting on the meaning of turning 100, and a joyful 100th-day celebration where students dressed as 100-year-olds. In November, Rosarian’s centennial was featured on FOX News in a segment led by longtime community member and current Interim Head of School Ms. Devine, capturing the true heart of the Academy.
In January, the community gathered for the Capital Campaign Field Ribbon Cutting on Field Day, one of the most anticipated days of the year, marking an exciting new chapter for campus life. The school also honored past Auction Chairwomen at a special Centennial Brunch at The Sailfish Club and welcomed generations of alumni back to campus for a moving Centennial Alumni Celebration.
As the centennial year continues, Rosarian Academy has been nominated for Best Local Private School in the WFLX Viewers’ Choice Awards, with voting beginning June 22.
For 100 years, Rosarian Academy has remained rooted in faith, strengthened by family, and united by friendship. As it looks toward the next century, the mission remains the same: to form students of character, compassion, and purpose, ready to lead and serve in an ever-changing world.
