Modernized Facilities
Rosarian Academy’s modernized facilities are designed to support the comprehensive development of its students by integrating state-of-the-art technology and purpose-built spaces for academics, arts, athletics, and spiritual growth. One of the standout features is the Freitas STEM Innovation Center, which is dedicated to promoting science, technology, engineering, and math education. This center allows students to engage in hands-on projects and real-world problem-solving,
Performing Arts
The Academy also offers a performing arts space with the Margaret Tighe Machlin Fine Arts Center, a 485-seat venue where students can showcase their talents in school plays, concerts, and other performances. This space provides a platform for students to develop their confidence, creativity, and public speaking abilities. The theater is equipped with modern sound and lighting systems, ensuring a professional experience for both performers and audiences. We’ve even had students “fly” across the stage using our theatrical rigging system, akin to Peter Pan, and they will do so again in the 2025 Spring Musical, Wizard of Oz.
Athletics & Fine Arts
For athletics and fine arts, the Picotte Center is a multipurpose facility that houses a gymnasium, art studios, music rooms, and a drama suite. Opened in 2009, it was the first official gymnasium at Rosarian Academy where games could be hosted. The center fosters both physical fitness and artistic expression, encouraging students to explore their creative talents while also promoting teamwork and physical well-being through 13 interscholastic sports teams.
Rosary Chapel
In addition to these facilities, the Rosary Chapel has been beautifully renovated to offer a peaceful and reflective space for daily prayer and worship. The chapel plays a key role in fostering spiritual development among students, providing them with a serene environment for personal reflection and communal worship. The spiritual aspect of Rosarian Academy is central to its mission, and the chapel serves as a reminder of the school’s commitment to nurturing both the mind and the soul.
Why Modern Facilites are Important
These modernized facilities at Rosarian Academy are more than just physical structures; they are vital tools in creating an environment that nurtures the intellectual, creative, physical, and spiritual growth of every student.
