Rosarian Academy students help set a world record

For the fourth consecutive year, Rosarian Academy students have helped set a world record.

Earlier this winter, 172 Rosarian Academy Lower School students participated in the 2016 STACK UP! Competition to set a Guinness World Record mark in Sport Stacking.

On the appointed date, 2,590 schools and organizations from 30 countries worked together to beat last yearÕs number of 618,394 stackers. With a total of 622,809 stackers, the World Sport Stacking Association STACK UP! event set the record.

The entire Rosarian Lower School, kindergarten through fourth grade, participated in the 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 STACK UP! Competition.

Sport stacking has been termed a Òtrack meet for your hands at warp speed.Ó ItÕs an exciting sport where students stack and unstack 12 specially designed cups called Speed Stacks in predetermined lightning-fast sequences as quickly as they can.

Stackers race against the clock, compete in relays and often combine sport stacking with fitness challenges as part of physical education classes.
