05.29.14 Class of 2014 Baccalaureate Mass, Brunch and Graduation

A Baccalaureate Mass honoring the Class of 2014 graduates will return to Rosarian AcademyÕs Theater on Thursday, May 29, at 9:30 , after being held at St. Edward Church for the last six years. Traditionally, graduation Mass was always held on cpus in RosarianÕs theater. During the six years the theater was closed for renovations, the school had to find an off-cpus site for Mass and was granted permission to use St. Edward Church. This year, Principal Virginia Devine has decided to return to tradition and bring the Mass back to RosarianÕs cpus. Father Brian King, secretary to Bishop Barbarito, will celebrate the liturgy.

Immediately following the Mass, a brunch honoring the eighth graders and their filies will be held in the schoolÕs dining hall. The brunch is organized by seventh grade mothers.

Later Thursday, the graduation ceremony will also take place in the theater beginning at 5:00 pm. Class of 2003 alumna and former Palm Beach resident, Meredith Hunt, will be the commencement speaker. Ms. Hunt graduated from Rosarian number one in her class and then proceeded to Cardinal Newman where she also finished number one. She graduated from Brown University Magna Cum Laude and then from Willi &p; Mary Law School Summa Cum Laude and the top 10% of her class. She will begin her career working at a law firm in Manhattan.

Palm Beach residents, Lilly Coony, Alexandra Morrison, Hannah Harlan, and Chloe Mikus, are part of RosarianÕs Class of 2014.
