Mrs. Trethewey joins Rosarian from St. Rose of Lima Catholic School in Miami Shores, FL, where she worked as curriculum director, teacher, and school administrator.  She served as assistant principal in both the Maryland Public School System and the Archdiocese of Miami, including 10 years at St. Bonaventure Catholic School in Davie, FL.

The Middle School Principal search began  February 2017 when Principal Sister Donna Baker, O.P. announced her resignation after 16 years of service to Rosarian Academy to spend more time working in service of the Adrian Dominican Sisters.

In Mr. Rubenacker’s announcement to the school community, he stated, “As a devout Catholic with over 25 years of experience in public, private, and diocesan education, [Mrs. Trethewey] brings a great deal of experience and wisdom to our school. We are thrilled that she will be joining us.”

Mrs. Trethewey officially joined the Rosarian Academy community on July 1.  She commented:

As Middle School Principal, I look forward to fostering the continued rigor and strong curriculum commitment, as well as infusing the gospel message in all areas of the daily routine and curriculum.”
