Lacrosse draw a sign of progress for Rosarian, PB Day

Two weeks ago, Rosarian Academy and Palm Beach Day AcademyÕs girlsÕ lacrosse tes dueled to a 6-6 tie on a picture-perfect Thursday afternoon. Ties are, by their nature, pretty unpalatable things: TheyÕre not as good as victories and hardly better than losses, yet when the players from the two rival tes shook hands, all wore smiles.

Why? It was the first match between both tes this season and the second ge of the season for each. Both had suffered losses in their openers. The ge itself was a beauty; the lead switched hands several times, giving the nice crowd at the Recreation Center a lot to cheer about. When it was all over, the players on both tes seemed to sense there would be victories ahead.
