Girls’ Night Out Raises Over $11,000 for Rosarian Academy

105 Rosarian Academy moms, friends, and faculty gathered for Girls’ Night Out on Wednesday, November 8, enjoying food and drinks and watching a comedy in support of the school. Attendees met at Rosarian on Flagler Drive to board Molly’s Trolleys. The ‘jolly trolley’  first transported the ladies to the Breakers West home of Rosarian mother Liz Yavinsky for happy hour, dinner, and a silent auction. The women then enjoyed a private screening of a newly released comedy at the Regal Royal Palm Beach Cinema which donated the space for the event.

The ladies raised over $11,000. Thanks to the generous underwriters and Event Chairs, Bridget Koch, Darlene Jordan & Desiree Luccio, every dollar raised goes directly to Rosarian Academy.

Girls’ Night Out is one of a series of events that Rosarian Academy holds as part of its largest fundraiser—the annual Auction & Ball. Rosarian dads and friends will have their opportunity for a night out in support of the Auction on Thursday, November 30 at Trump International Golf Club. This year’s Auction, Puttin’ on the Ritz: Party Like It’s 1925, will take place on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Eau Palm Beach. The Auction is being chaired by Ali Rehm, Kathy Steele and Liz Yavinsky.

Some of the Girls’ Night Out attendees included: Ann-Britt Angle, Abby Beebe, Paula Cook, Ada Hanlon, Bridget Koch, Beth Lang, Desiree Luccio, Diana Perry, Amy Quattlebaum, Kelly Rooney, and Kate Parker Spencer.

Rosarian Academy, founded in 1925, educates students from early childhood through eighth grade and offers an exceptionally strong academic program enriched by athletics, visual and performing arts, and community service opportunities. The independent, Catholic school is located on Flagler Drive in downtown West Palm Beach and is sponsored by the Adrian Dominican Sisters. Bus service is available throughout Palm Beach County.
