Photo/Media Advisory: Annual Field Day Competition at Rosarian Academy – Friday, March 16

WHAT:
Go Red! Go Green! Go Yellow! Go Blue! Excitement will fill Rosarian Academy’s Garvy Gym and Jake Rubin Field next Friday, March 16, as Lower School students participate in their annual Field Day competitions. PE teachers Lindsey Beylo and Vinnie DeAguila are organizing a fun-filled morning. Divided by team colors, kindergarten-through-fourth-grade students will compete with their grade level in soccer, messy yard, poly spot round-up, basketball relays, scooter relays, bowling blitz and more. Although there’s glory in finishing on top, the focus of Field Day is always on good sportsmanship—being “athletes of Christ,” like St. Dominic.

Students are assigned a team color in kindergarten and remain on that team throughout their Lower School years at Rosarian. In addition, students with siblings at Rosarian are placed on the same team.
