2013 STACK UP!: Rosarian Academy Makes Guinness Book of World Records

With the help of Rosarian Academy Lower School students, the World Record for ÒMost People Sport Stacking at Multiple Locations in One DayÓ was broken! The entire Rosarian Lower School, kindergarten through grade four, participated in 2013 STACK UP! to set a new Guinness Book of World Records in Sport Stacking on November 14, 2013.  Over 2,800 schools and organizations representing 36 countries from around the world worked together on that specific day to beat last yearÕs number of 483,658 stackers. This yearÕs goal was half a million stackers.

Organized by P.E. Teacher Lindsey Beylo, 160 Rosarian students met in the gymnasium and spent 30 minutes rotating between five stations–stacking and un-stacking speed stacks and jumbo speed stacks with timers, scooters, relay races and an intense ge of builders and bulldozers. As of 9:50 on November 20, 2013, 542,300 Stackers have been verified and the results are still coming in.  Those numbers beat last yearÕs record by almost 60,000. Rosarian Academy will receive documentation stating the schoolÕs participation in this yearÕs world record.
