Rosarian Academy achievements: Rosarian Academy graduated 29 students from its eighth-grade class on May 23 in the school theater. Five of the graduates are Palm Beach residents: Isabella Dadey-McMaster, Valery Gonzalez, Lily Guari, Alina Morrison and Nicholas Scully.

In addition to diplomas, special awards also were presented. The 2019 President’s Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence went to Thomas Coates, Stephen Hall, MJ Hanlon, Crede Janson, Olivia Klein, Morrison, Pariseleti, Victoria Reynolds, Scully and Parker Ward. Recipient of the President’s Education Award for Educational Achievement was Matthew Cohen and Highest Standing Academic Accomplishment was awarded to Pariseleti and Victoria Reynolds. Highest Academic Honors were awarded to Reynolds. The St. Dominic Award was presented to Ava Iuliani and Reynolds; and the Oakley Debbs Red Sneaker Award was presented to Guari.

Outstanding achievement in subject area awards went to: Religion, Crede Janson; Literature, Coates; English, Pariseleti; Geometry Honors, Reynolds; Algebra I Honors, Guari; Algebra I, Katarina Bessenroth; History, Gonzalez; Science, Trace Scuderi; Spanish, Alina Morrison; STEM, Parker Ward; Art, Reynolds; Drama, Janson and Pariseleti; Physical Education, Cohen.

Rosarian also hosted a middle-school honors assembly on the last day of school, May 31, to honor academic and athletic achievers for the third trimester.

Student Ambassadors for the 2018-2019 school year were recognized: fifth grade — Charlotte Jordan, Ella Ross Lang, Rocco Marcello, Chase Pariseleti, Liam Stetson and Mercer Ward; sixth grade — Eliza Ashley, Matthias Bessenroth, James Flynn, Cate Frerichs, Nicholas Grippi, Izzy Herlong, Parker Pressly and Marissa Sanchez; seventh grade — Kaitlin Koch, Molly Lanahan, Loran McGruder, Nicholas Stewart and Harper Throop.

Highest Academic Honors winners were Amelia Walsh and Tucker Yavinsky.

Outstanding Achievement in All Subject Area awards were presented to Jordan, Lang, and Ward (fifth grade), Frerichs and Joseph Modenos (sixth grade), and Yavinsky (seventh grade) for having the highest academic average for all three trimesters.

Student-athletes who participated in spring sports were also recognized: Boys lacrosse — James Smeenge (Defensive MVP), Harrison Soper (Coach’s Choice); Girls lacrosse — Bailey Groth(Heart Award); Harper Throop (MVP); Boys tennis — James Molina (Sportsmanship), Will Fabbri (Most Improved); George Weston (Courage); James Flynn (MVP); Girls tennis— Eleanor Hall (Most Improved), Julia Brown (Courage), Olivia Debbs(Sportsmanship), Logan Ray (MVP); Track and field— Sloane Clarke and Trey Wagner (Running Raider Award), McKenna Boysan (Coach’s Choice); Golf — Sebastian Peluso (Most Improved); Thomas Murray (Sportsmanship), Hampton Beebe(Most Valuable Team Player), and Juliana LaPapa (Most Valuable).
