1925 Society honors Rosarian Academy donors

Rosarian Academy honored donors and special guests with the annual 1925 Society Appreciation Dinner this past Sunday, April 28 at Marcello’s La Sirena Restaurant. Only donors who give $1925 or more to the school’s annual fund campaign are invited to the exquisite dinner hosted by Marcello & Diane Fiorentino. The Rosarian Fund was the most successful in school history—surpassing its goal of $325,000.

The intimate dinner with 50 guests included five deliciously-prepared courses: Bruschetta di Capri, Yellowtail Oreganata, Risotto Duccio Prussi, Cotoletta di Vitello Zingara, and Tiramisu. Wine was served upon arrival and flowed throughout the evening.

Rosarian students and alumni served the dishes. Servers included: Joey Arrigo (Class of 2015), Christian Azqueta (Class of 2018), Isabella Fiorentino (Class of 2017), Marcello Fiorentino (6th grade), Parker Pressly (6th grade), Logan Ray (6th grade), Whitney Ray (4th grade).

Toasts for the Head of School, Linda Trethewey, Board of Directors, and all the families of Rosarian Academy were given. It was a celebration of the most successful annual fund in school history.

The Rosarian Fund is an essential fundraising effort and involves all members of the community. The annual campaign ensures that Rosarian, like other independent schools, has the resources it needs to provide a rich and robust academic program – from the classroom to the library, from technology instruction to the playing field, from the theater stage to the art studio, from early childhood to the 8th grade. The Rosarian Fund supports the resources essential to the school and has a direct and positive impact on every student, faculty and staff – enriching the experience for all.

Three representatives of the Adrian Dominican Sisters attended as honorary guests. Long-time supporters and past parents, Margaret and Jim Arrigo and Julie and Greg Quattlebaum, were also among the special guests in attendance who spoke with heartfelt sentiment about the “foundation for life” that Rosarian Academy has provided in shaping who their children are today.

Rosarian Academy, founded in 1925, educates students from early childhood through eighth grade and offers an exceptionally strong academic program enriched by faith, athletics, visual and performing arts, and community service opportunities. The independent, Catholic school is located on Flagler Drive in downtown West Palm Beach and is sponsored by the Adrian Dominican Sisters.  Complimentary bus service is available throughout Palm Beach County.
